Puff Pastry With Brie

The holiday means spending quality time with family. In this video, I will show you how to make an Easy Holiday Appetizer, a Brie En Croute Recipe. We are going to bake brie in a puff pastry.

Brie En Croute Frequently Asked Question:

Do you take the rind off of brie cheese before baking?

A note regarding the rind: I did not trim the rind away before baking. It is completely digestible, and you don't notice it much when your brie is cooked. When I'm devouring brie unbaked, I sometimes trimmed the rind merely because I don't enjoy it.

How do you eat brie en croute?

Brush the surface of the brie en croute with egg wash.

Add your favorite jam and nuts.

Wrap the brie en croute in a puff pastry.

Bake: Cook for 25-30 minutes or until pastry is golden brown. Cool down and serve: Move brie en croute to a sterilized work surface or serving tray and allow to cool for 5-10 minutes. Serve with fruit crackers and artisanal bread.

Can you reheat brie en croute?

Reheating Leftover Brie En Croute.  If you have leftovers, you can loosely cover it in aluminum foil and reheat it in a 350 ° F oven for about 10 to 15 minutes until the brie is drippy again and the puff pastry is hot.
